15 new homes on-Reserve Elder and Family Housing for Ch’íyáqtel First Nation
Te Stolōwálá Lálèm means “Houses on the Riverbed”. This Ch’íyáqtel First Nation project provides 15 new homes across two buildings on-reserve for Elders and families, allowing nation members to return or remain home. Storage, workspaces, and shared amenities help make this development livable and welcoming.
This affordable housing project was completed in 14 months by our talented Project Team, including Ch’íyáqtel First Nation, The Nerdy Architect, and Mierau Contractors.
Lu’ma Development Management oversaw the development management and construction claims management for the project, including a successful submission to CMHC’s Rapid Housing Initiative in March 2023.
